Outsider Music Press is pleased to announce Michelle Suzanne as our music video picker throughout March! Besides being a craft queen, having incredible music taste, Michelle also runs her own blog, She’s A Giant which showcases her many talents and interests!
Michelle has decided to take you on a journey into the past of underground music! This week her pick is the Shangri-las!
Michelle says,
“Since I was a little girl I loved the song “Leader of the Pack.” One day I randomly heard the song “Remember (Walking in the Sand)” and after obsessively hunting down the group that sang it, I have been one of the Shangri-Las biggest fans. These girls are just too adorable. Hmm, he’s good bad, but he’s not evil! If I could go back in time and be the 5th Shangri-La, I would do it in a heartbeat. Here’s a bonus video from this same performance that is another fantastic song, “Right Now and Not Later”.
