Outsider/Insider: Natalie Ribbons with Robert Charlebois

This week’s Outsider/Insider pick is Natalie Ribbons from Austin, TX. Outsider Music Press is thrilled to have Natalie’s insight on music because we love the tunes she makes in her band, Agent Ribbons!

Natalie says, “My Outsider/Insider pick is something that came to me magically and unexpectedly. The artist is named Robert Charlebois and is apparently a household name in Quebec, Canada, where he is from. However, the self-titled record that was given to me years ago seemingly came out of nowhere and feels as thought it was tailored exactly to my tastes! The songs range from dreamy to silly, and they all have this fun, laissez-faire 60s vibe that sounds like Serge Gainsbourg with Os Mutantes as his backing band.”
